Search Literature resources for indexes of published information from journals, conference abstracts, reports and academic theses. Critically appraise the results to exclude poorly conducted clinical trials, reports and articles and to locate relevant, valid information.

Cochrane Library: Reliable evidence on the effectiveness of healthcare interventions and treatments
DynaMed Plus: Clinical decision tool which provides evidence-based content written by a team of physicians who synthesize the evidence and provide objective analysis to help clinicians in their daily practice. NICE Evidence: Free, open access to a range of selected and authoritative health and social care evidence-based information. Login with OpenAthens to access the full range of online journals available including:

Royal Marsden Online: The 9th edition of the Royal Marsden Hospital Manual of Clinical Procedures includes 350+ evidence-based clinical procedures related to every aspect of care. There is a short Online Help Tutorial and a comprehensive Help section.
UpToDate: This resource includes updated reviews of clinical topics and topic searches can be limited to Pediatrics. Password free within the hospital but requires OpenAthens off site. There is also a comprehensive section on Pediatrics which is located in What’s New.
