Mental Health

This page lists key resources for all staff working in Psychiatry and Mental Health. You may also find relevant information in the Online Library and other Specialty pages. Please register for an OpenAthens account to make the most of the healthcare resources.

Look under Evidence for research reviews, evidence-based guidelines, validated research articles and research-based clinical options.

Search Literature resources for indexes of published information from journals, conference abstracts, reports and academic theses.  Critically appraise the results to exclude poorly conducted clinical trials, reports and articles and to locate relevant, valid information.

Please contact Susan Merner, Deputy Head of Library Services, Alison McLaren, Knowledge Skills & Systems Librarian or Holly Case, Outreach Librarian.

You are welcome to contact Susan, Alison or Holly to discuss literature searches, e-resources, book stock, and critical appraisal. We also attend local faculty group meetings as well as journal clubs.
